AIMEE GARDYNE
Aimee Gardyne’s practice is based on observations of the Australian landscape, in particular the subaqueous environment seen while snorkeling in Eastern Sydney. To reproduce the amalgamation of sediment, algae and oceanic critters that form this realm as portions of unprimed canvas are placed on the studio floor and worked over a period of several months.
