Our Vision

DRAW Space provides a platform to make, see, and experience contemporary drawing. We work with a broad definition of what drawing is and encourage continued research and exploration of what it can be. As a new centre for contemporary drawing, we aim, through exhibitions, performances, workshops, artist talks, and residencies, to engage more closely with the broader community, expand understanding of what drawing is and enhance the standing of drawing in an Australian and international art context. We are an inclusive community and advocate for greater diversity and representation in the arts.

Our Model

Rather than undertaking time consuming callouts, the DRAW Space model allows each board member to curate and deliver an exhibition each year that aligns with their own creative practice.
