TIMELINE / Animate Newtown

An evolving community-made animation. Opening 6pm Thursday 25 June. Continual drop-in workshop runs until 5pm Sunday 28 June. Presented by Sarah Eddowes.

Drop in for an evolving community animation workshop. No experience needed! Together, we will draw, paint and collage along a reel of paper which will become a lively animation projected in the gallery space. This animation technique is similar to the “paint on film” approach used by Len Lye and Phil Evans. The workshop will run at the following times:

  • Thursday 25 June 2-5pm. Opening event from 6pm

  • Friday 26 June 2-5pm

  • Saturday 27 June 12-5pm

  • Sunday 28 June 12-5pm
