DRAW Space is thrilled to present Alan Schacher / CHASING SHADOWS, a performative drawing residency curated by Melinda Hunt
Midday to 6pm, Friday 27, Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 December, through the window at DRAW Space.
In this residency, Alan will capture the outlines of shadows and reflections as they fall onto and into the space at DRAW Space. The tracing action will result in multiples as the outlines the artist draws cast further projections into the space. The work will extend to the footpath outside the gallery. Alan’s body, moving in this seek-and-chase action, will be a time-lapse which he describes as the performative trace.
